About DRAGON SOUL

NOTHING BURNS HOTTER . . .

Sophea Long knows that escorting her octogenarian client to Europe will be an adventure. Mrs. P has a habit of stealing anything shiny, and the former “hoochikoo dancer” is a lot faster than she looks. But Sophea hadn’t counted on Mrs. P leading her right into the arms of a smoldering, dark-haired stranger who kisses like a dream. If only he’d give up all this nonsense about Sophea being some kind of dragon…

THAN THE FIRE INSIDE

There’s a reason Rowan Dakar is known as the Dragon Breaker. The last thing he needs is to fall for a woman who literally sets him aflame every time they kiss. After all, he has a mission-one that will finally free him of dragonkin for good. He can’t afford to be distracted by the funniest, most desirable woman he’s ever set eyes on. But no prophecy in the world can ever stop true love . . .

This is a highly entertaining paranormal adventure that I never wanted to end! Sophea has had a difficult time over the past few years dealing with the tragic death of her shiny brand new husband mere hours after their courthouse wedding when he was run over by a drunk driver crossing the street. She’s been drifting ever since then without any purpose and waiting to figure out to do with her life. A new job opportunity presents itself in the form of a man claiming to be her deceased husband’s cousin requesting her to escort his grandmother to another country in order to help her board the ship she’s set to take a wonderful cruise aboard. Things are definitely not at all what they seem however and are about to go completely sideways in every way imaginable. Sophea comes to discover that her husband was keeping quite a big secret from her and it’s one that’s going to make her life very different from now on. I loved so many things about this book and enjoyed reading it very much! I love Sophea’s character and how absolutely hilarious she is! Her antics had me literally laughing out loud to the point where I couldn’t stop and I can’t remember the last time a book made me laugh this hard!

While traveling with Mrs. P, the elderly woman she’s been charged with escorting, she comes across a dark and mysterious stranger who comes to the rescue when a creepy man won’t leave her and Mrs. P alone. She feels there’s something different about him right from the start. She’s right of course and Rowan is known as the dragon breaker since he caused the death of four dragons due to the actions he set into motion. Now Rowan’s been brought into a dangerous world filled with dragons and demons and a race that has some pretty horrible consequences if the right side doesn’t win. He and Sophea share something intense and special and it only gets even more so when the First dragon, the father of all dragons, steps in and changes the game completely for everyone concerned. Mrs. P is hands down one of my favorite characters in this story and she is one heck of a hilarious and sassy older woman who is always up to no good and I couldn’t get enough of her crazy shenanigans! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this amazing story and I highly recommend this to anyone to read.
