The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her. Lydia Green doesn’t know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it’s with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later. Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she’d marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he’s all wrong-maybe it’s time to give Mr. Right Now a chance. After all, what’s wrong with getting dirty?

If this book is any indication, we are in for another great ride with the Dive Bar series!! Vaughn and Lydia are perfect for each other in the most imperfect of ways. They are total opposites that somehow fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. A smokin' hot, sexual charged puzzle!!
The last thing Vaughn expects when he returns home after touring with his band is to find a runaway bride in his bathtub! But that's what he gets! Completely naked and wanting nothing more than a hot shower and a bed, what he gets instead is Lydia, still in her wedding dress after escaping what would have been the worst mistake of her life.
I can't say enough about this book. Vaughn is such a contradiction and I fell for him hard and fast. He has this sexy, rough exterior but if you take a closer look you will find that he is a sweet, funny guy. Lydia on the other hand is all about "the plan". Settle down, white picket fence. You know the type, right? They've got it all figured out. Until it all goes wrong and you end up with a tattooed rocker that turns your world upside down.
The banter between these two was perfect! It was honest and fun! Throw in a little dirty talk and you've got the perfect combination of sexy and sweet. Mal from the Stage Dive Series makes a brief appearance and we get to hear a little about what the rest of the band is up to. I'm already looking forward to Joe's book and I really hope we get to see what happens with Nell and Eric. Well done Kylie Scott!!
