People call me all sorts of names—bad girl, black sheep, and my all-time favorite…Satan’s bride. I could blame the fact I’m a witch for my behavior, but the truth is I’m infuriating, arrogant, and stab-worthy.
Alex Remington is a hunter and everything I’m not—righteous, honest, caring. We used to have a thing, but that was before he learned I’m a witch and tried to kill me.
Eighteen months later, he’s back in my life and we have a deal; I’ll help him save his brother and he’ll disappear from my life for good. But karma can be a real bitch…
Nadine aka Dini is a traveler at heart. She considers the world her home and practically lives out of her suitcases. Her love for writing started in the sixth grade where she annoyed her classmates with a short story featuring Sailor Moon characters, a cemetery, and creepy ghosts. Yes, she’s always been addicted to the dark side. Nadine writes paranormal romance. This is the first book in the Drag. Me. To. Hell. Series and I was blown away by how much I freaking loved this book! This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I hope to see many more from her in the future, especially with several more in this series as well. When I read the synopsis I knew I had to read this book, but I had absolutely no idea how much I would love reading this. I didn’t want it to ever end. I immediately loved Amanda and her snarky sense of humor. She’s a witch who’s full of attitude and laughs in the face of danger and I couldn’t get enough of her. Her and Alex have a not so pleasant past full of resentment that has definitely left some marks on both of them and now that he’s come to her asking for her help, things are about to get really interesting. Alex’s brother Jesse has disappeared and Alex needs Amanda’s help to find him and to say these two are not so happy to be working together is an extreme understatement. It was obvious from the first second they are in these same room together that Alex and Amanda still both have strong feelings towards each other, but unfortunately hurt feelings and the fact that she’s a witch and he’s a witch hunter are obstacles standing firmly in their way.
Alex is harboring a pretty big secret that I waited to be revealed throughout this entire story and this book ends without the big reveal! I guess I’ll just have to wait for the next one to finally find out. Ugh!! This is an incredible start to what I have a feeling is going to be a really great series and I’m hoping that this author writes really, really quickly! I highly recommend this book to anyone and I am a huge new fan of this author.
