“It began three days ago with a fight. Seems that for me, everything begins with a fight…”

Sammy Jo may be strong, fast and tough, even in heels, but she gets into trouble when she fights some local thugs to save a rich boy named Gregory.

Now bad guy McCloud is after her – and he’s even more dangerous than her forbidden love for Gregory.

Fighter Girl was published in the United Kingdom under the title GYPSY GIRL.

Kathryn lives in Leicester with her family, writing full time (and loves that!) Kathryn always wanted to become an author and wrote her first story at age eight. But it took quite a while and lots of different jobs before she got published.

She’s worked with gypsy and traveller children, working from a converted bus with a rainbow on the side, doing video and photography projects, and documenting travelling lives.
Mist draws on and is influenced by her work with this community.

She’s also written scripts for a local video production company, many of them for children and teenagers.

Many people never experience true hate.  Many people never experience racism. Many people have never had to fight for their lives.

Gypsy Girl knows all three experiences.  Being a Gypsy in England has many people distrusting and hating her.  Sammy-Jo is her farther's girl.  She is a fighter.  She has been training since she was little and it shows.  She has won every title she can at her age.  Now she does the fights that no one would allow her to- if they knew.
Sammy-Jo lives on the edge, the fights call to her.  She does it for release but also the money.  She has been fighting to help pay for her sisters over the top, better than the rest of the world, wedding.  Bridezilla has no idea and Sammy-Jo is going to keep it that way.
With the wedding just days away, Sammy needs everything perfect. She never expected him to show up.  She never expected the issues with the neighbors.  And she most definitely never expected her reaction to him.
It seems this wedding is going to be harder to maintain than Bridezilla's eyelashes.  Mayhem and danger lurk around the corner and the magpies don't lie.
Its a fun pg read. it eludes to a possible sequel.  i will keep my eyes open to see if Sammy gets her desired ending!
