Who knew the apocalypse could be so sexy?

Nina can shoot a gun, start a fire, and kick some serious ass. So when a killer virus and solar storm decimate the country, she’s as prepared as possible to survive. She just needs a motorcycle to navigate the cluttered roads and meet up with her family.

Creed, former Marine, is tattooed and tough. He’s scarred inside and out. Loss is no stranger to him, and he avoids getting close to anyone at all costs.

When Nina tries to steal his motorcycle they have a vicious fight, but necessity and attraction force them into an uneasy alliance. They travel together through the dangerous landscape, where trouble lurks around every corner and they need each other to survive.

But the biggest danger just might be falling in love.

Equally as exciting as it is sexy, Afterglow contains graphic sex and some violence, so please read at your own risk. 18+ recommended.

This is a standalone.

This is a really great post-apocalyptic romance that grabbed hold of me and didn’t let go until the very last page and I loved it! This takes place after the outbreak of an extremely fatal virus has eliminated a majority of the world’s population and there is danger around every turn throughout this entire story. Nina is one of the very few survivors left behind after the virus hit and she’s been hunkered down in her parent’s home waiting for the time to be right to head towards her survivalist grandmother’s house since if anyone is still alive and kicking, it will be her. She’s spotted her neighbor’s motorcycle and is thrilled since she thinks this’ll be just what she needs to get her there. When she tries to take the motorcycle and run things get interesting and the story takes off from there! I loved the tension between Creed and Nina and they are so perfect for each other! That is if Creed can find some way to get beyond the fact that he’s sworn off love and refuses to allow himself to become attached to anyone ever again in order to avoid being hurt when something inevitably happens to them. There are some pretty swoon worthy moments here and Creed is impossible not to fall head over heels for. Nina is a goner for sure and she’s one lucky girl too. This is a really great read filled with adventure and danger around every corner and I loved everything about this! I highly recommend this to anyone and I look forward to reading much more from this author in the future.
