All’s fair in love and hockey. . .

As his team’s enforcer on the ice, Sebastian Deveau is America’s favorite fighting Frenchman. But he’s just as likely to get into trouble off the ice–especially when it comes to women.

Shayne Beckford is so over hockey. It ruined her parents’ marriage. It spoiled her brother’s dreams. And let’s not even talk about her college boyfriend . . . So when Sebastian Deveau walks into her brother’s gym, she has no idea who he is. All she knows is that he’s one gorgeous man with the sexiest accent she’s ever heard. And since she never has to see him again, she lets him give her the best orgasm of her life right on top of the gym’s dryer.

But Sebastian isn’t going to let this one-night stand get away so easily. He fights for what he wants, even if it takes fighting a little dirty . . .

This is a very well written and highly enjoyable sports romance that I really enjoyed reading! I am a sucker for books about sexy as sin hockey players and this one has them in spades! Sebastian is the enforcer for his team and he’s got a lot going for him. He’s incredibly good looking, extremely successful in his career, financially well off and has an incredibly hot French accent that has girls throwing their panties at him in droves. Unfortunately, even with all of these advantages on his side, he has a history of difficulty when it comes to relationships and finding the one person to spend the rest of his life with. Shayne is a woman who has made it her life’s mission to avoid hockey players at all costs after her lifelong disappointments from the men she’s known in this profession. Life throws her a serious complication in the form of one sexy, French speaking hockey player that makes her panties disappear whenever he’s around and she’s not sure what she’s going to do. She can either follow her head that’s warning her to steer clear of the sexy complication, or she can take a chance and choose to follow her heart and possibly have the best experience of her entire life. I loved everything about this one and enjoyed the hilarious banter between Sebastian and Shayne. I could definitely understand why Shayne has so many reservations when it comes to hockey players after reading about the things that have happened to her in the past and was rooting for her to give Sebastian a chance to prove to her that he’s different than what she’s used to. I highly recommend reading this to anyone, especially those who love great sport romances and I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
