Mr. President by Katy Evans

Release Date: October 31st
Genre: Contemporary Romance

He’s won the hearts of millions. But is he willing to lose his?

I met the president’s son when we were both young. Matthew Hamilton was handsome, polished, and intelligent. I’d never met a guy like him.

He promised me that he’d never run for president. I promised that if he did, I’d be by his side.

Three terms later, an invitation to join Matthew Hamilton’s campaign is the most exhilarating opportunity I’ve ever experienced. I’m determined to make a difference; he is determined to win.

Focused on his goal, Matt is steadfast, ruthless, and disarming. All eyes are on him and his popularity is surging. But soon, the next possible president of the United States is possessing me in more ways than one—and despite the risks, I’m helpless to resist.

We’re stealing touches, stealing moments, and stealing away at night. But our chemical connection is quickly becoming dangerously combustive, putting not only my heart, but Matt’s chance at the presidency on the line.

Winning will take everything. Walking away will be the hardest thing of all.

Holy smokes, excuse my while I fan myself for a moment. Mr. President was hot, consuming, and unbelievably amazing!

I'm not big on politics, with that being said, I tend to steer clear of any political based book. I have read a few and can find some joy in them. Let me tell you, if Katy Evans writes what it is really like, I could get behind politics. Mr. President is a second chance romance of sorts, as well as a forbidden romance. Charlotte and Mathew met several years ago. They made promises as children and collected on them as adults. Watching these two attempt to fight the attraction that is so clear is so fun to watch. Katy does a fantastic job of balancing the romance and the politics.

Having read only one other book by Katy Evans, I was reminded of why I enjoyed her writing so much. Katy is incredibly talented at reeling in her readers. She builds the characters in a way that makes them so real.

Mr. President is the perfect read to take your mind away from the upcoming election. Trust me, you are going to want to find time for this book, after all, sleep is overrated.
