After experiencing heartache and loss, Whitney decides it’s time to move on and leave the past behind, while keeping the pain with her. Finding her way to Kentucky to be with family, she’s finally settling and feeling some happiness. She meets Aaron and he’s slowly showing her how to live again. But, what Aaron doesn’t know, is the deep secret she’s keeping from him.
Aaron doesn’t believe in spending time with women he doesn’t see a future with. Love, to him was black and white, until found her way into his life.
She’s his one and he’s her strength.
The overshadowing secret plaguing Whitney’s mind drivers her away, leaving Aaron and everyone she met behind.
Will Aaron find his way to Whitney again?
Or was their love something that most people desired and never found?
Kaylee Ryan has had a passion for reading since she was a little girl. That passion
has slowly led to spinning romantic tales, and a one-click addiction. When she
doesn’t have her nose stuck in her kindle or fingers glued to the keyboard, you
can find Kaylee hanging out with friends and family. She loves all genres of
music, and enjoys scrapbooking. She lives in Ohio with her husband (her real life
happily ever after) and their rambunctious little boy.
Before I read Southern Desire I read Southern Pleasure, again. Now, if you've read SP, you know that Evan is hard to beat. I just KNEW going in that there was no way Aaron could even come close to crushing my crush! Boy was I wrong.
Aaron is a hot as hell, cowboy fantasy come to life between the pages. He's just as sweet as he is sexy. And when he turns on the dirty talk my panties went poof! His devotion to his family is like an aphrodisiac. Every time he spoke to his niece I fell harder for this complex, contradiction of a man.
I loved everything about Whitney. Her independence, tenacity and strength are just a few of the things that make her amazing. The fact the she's funny and has the confidence to back it up is just a big fat bonus.
One of the things I really loved about this book is the build up. Aaron and Whitney took their time to get to know each other. Did it make a difference? Well, you'll have to read the book and find out. But be prepared for smokin' hot chemistry between two of my favorite Kaylee Ryan characters to date. This book had all the feels and I couldn't stop flipping the pages. You'll laugh, cry, fall in love and your heart will break. But you'll end up with a Southern Desire for a cowboy of your very own.
