Chance Encounters, an all-new romantic comedy from Jessica Prince is now LIVE!!

There are three kinds of nerdy women in the world.

– The Sexy Nerd

– The Confident Nerd; and

– The So-Socially-Awkward-it’s-Painful-to-Watch Nerd.

You can probably guess which one I am. After witnessing me making a fool of myself, Chance Hoffman decided to take pity on me. He’s smart, sexy, charming, and totally out of my league… and for some unexplainable reason, he wants to help me. Who am I to say no? Besides, I need all the assistance I can get.

There are three things that make a woman irresistible.

– Confidence

– A Wicked Sense of Humor; and

– A Killer Rack.

Melany Fitzgerald had none of those things. Or so I thought… until I really got to know her. She’s the total package and she doesn’t even realize it. Now I’m stuck with the uncomfortable task of helping her land another guy, all the while trying to ignore the fact that I’m starting to fall for her.

She thinks she’s an ugly duckling and wants to become a swan. All I want is her. And I’m not giving up without a fight.

About the Author:

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

Jessica Prince

I absolutely loved Chance Encounters by Jessica Prince.  It was funny, romantic and just an overall great story to read. I devoured every word.

Melany Fitzgerald and Chance Hoffman meet at the engagement party for mutual friends. Melany is shy, awkward and hiding in the corner. Chance is confident and comfortable with who he is. And when they meet, he finds her delightful, even while she word vomits all over him and his date.

Melany has lived in her own world for years. After some very awkward and hurtful circumstances in her past, she never leaves her comfort zone to avoid being hurt. And while she has secretly loved one man for the last five years, he has no idea she exists. She finally wants to change that.

I loved Melany. Even with being so socially awkward and introverted, she is such a good and caring person. But growing up with her wicked witch of a mother and being made to feel inferior, she has no idea how to make herself stand out. Until she meets Chance. Now he is willing to help build her confidence and make her irresistible.

Chance is easy-going, strong, determined and so very confident. I absolutely loved him. For some reason, Melany finds herself opening up to him and he is willing to help her. Chance sees Melany, the person, not the ugly duckling she sees or lets others see. He starts to bring out the woman she has always hidden behind bland clothes and awkwardness.

But as Chance begins to spend more time with Melany, he begins to see her in a very different light. Feelings begin to emerge and he has no idea how to handle it, because he is supposed to be helping her get the man she has always wanted, not falling for her himself. And as Melany begins to see Chance as a man, and not her savior, she begins to forget the man she decided to change for.  But is it worth losing the one person who brings out the best in her?

I loved seeing Melany and Chance become friends and confidants. Melany begins to open up to Chance and under his guidance, she blossoms. I loved all the characters. Melany and Chance were so easy to root for. And their friends were great supporting characters and added so much lightness to the story.

Chance Encounters had humor, romance and just a touch of angst. I loved how the story flowed. It will consume you from start to finish. I laughed. I hurt. And I loved every minute of reading this book.
