Duke of Manhattan, an all-new contemporary romance by Louise Bay is available now!!!

I was born into British aristocracy, but I’ve made my fortune in Manhattan. New York is now my kingdom.

Back in Britain my family are fighting over who’s the next Duke of Fairfax. The rules say it’s me–if I’m married. It’s not a trade-off worth making. I could never limit myself to just one woman.

Or so I thought until my world is turned upside down. Now, the only way I can save the empire I built is to inherit the title I’ve never wanted — so I need a wife.

To take my mind off business I need a night that’s all pleasure. I need to bury myself in a stranger.

The skim of Scarlett King’s hair over my body as she bends over . . .

The scrape of her nails across my chest as she screams my name . . .

The bite of her teeth on my shoulder just as we both reach the edge . . .

It all helps me forget.

I just didn’t bargain on finding my one night stand across the boardroom table the next day.

She might be my latest conquest but I have a feeling Scarlett King might just conquer me.

A sexy, standalone romance.

About the Author:

USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels – the kind she likes to read. The novels and together the series are stand-alone although there are some overlapping characters.

Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There’s not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.

Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn’t have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.

Louise Bay

Duke of Manhattan by Louise Bay was a hot and steamy, with laughs and romance read. A man and a woman with a dilemma they may just be able to help each other with. Nothing can go wrong, right?

Ryder Westbury is happy with the status quo. He is successful, having built his fortune on his own merit in Manhattan, and having his pick of female companions. Who needs only one when there are choices? But he also comes from British aristocracy. When his grandfather, the Duke of Fairfax, dies, the title and all it entails, will go to the oldest living and married male. But Ryder has never cared for the title and everything that comes with it. Let it go to his cousin Frederick, even if he does not care for Frederick, Ryder does not want the responsibility, or limitations, as he sees them.

Then Ryder’s world is put off balance and the only way to set it right is to inherit the title and all it entails. But that also means he needs a wife. Before getting to the task at hand, finding a wife, Ryder decides to have one more night just for himself. Enter Scarlett King. They enjoy one night together, believing that was all it was. Imagine their surprise when they come face-to-face with each other across the boardroom.

Ryder was raised in privilege, but was also loved and cared for. He is a good man. But he wanted to make something of himself on his own. So he set out to build his fortune in Manhattan, away from the world he had known. He built a very successful investment company he was proud of.

Scarlett is divorced and trying to figure out how to move forward and start dating again. Her ex-husband was not nice when he left her and filled her with insecurities as a woman and a wife. She decides to start fresh and moves to New York City to build a fragrance company with her college roommate. But her love life, or lack of one, is stalled, for now. Enter Ryder Westbury.

Scarlet’s company has been doing well, however, they are now in a position that has the business stalled and in need of investors, but Scarlet and her partner want to keep control. And so Ryder and Scarlet’s journey begins. Ryder needs a wife and Scarlet wants to save her company. Can they help each other out?

I liked Ryder. He was so charming and determined, especially when it came to his business. I loved that Scarlet was smart and independent. She stood up for herself and fought for what she wanted. Ryder and Scarlet were very evenly matched, even as she was still trying to find her way after the divorce.

Duke of Manhattan was sweet, funny and very hot and steamy. The chemistry was strong and their sex scenes scorching hot, even if their relationship was one of mutual convenience. But as they spend time together to convince others they are the real deal, feelings begin to interfere with their best laid plans.
I liked Duke of Manhattan. I have not read the first book in the series, but plan on resolving that very quickly, and absolutely loved the second. This, to me was not as good as the second book, but I did enjoy the story, the characters and their chemistry.
