“I’m face-down in forty glorious inches of well-endowed
cake, seriously reassessing my life choices, when suddenly I hear it. The voice
that launched a thousand teenage boy-band dreams. My #1 crush, Drew Delaney
himself.”
Ten years ago, Drew was boy-band royalty: the subject of a
million teenage fantasies – and the guy next door. He was so far out of my
league, I couldn’t see him for stars, but now I’m back in town for our
high-school reunion, guess who I run into but Mr. Right-Now himself…
Older. Hotter. And still sexy enough to make me forget about
the glittery white frosting currently smeared across my chest.
Sparks are flying, and so are my panties, and soon, our trip
down memory lane has taken a detour to ‘oh my god, don’t stop!’. Population:
me.
But can I turn Mr. Right-Now into Mr. Forever? Or will
crazed fans, vicious yoga moms, and three dozen c#ck-sicles (don’t ask) doom
our romance to the ‘Where are they now?’ section of MTV’s greatest hits?
You’ll be begging for a taste of Lila Monroe’s new sexy, laugh-out-loud
summer romance!

Mr. Right-Now
Lila Monroe

I had forgotten how funny Lila Monroe is. Mr. Right Now had me laughing from the first page to the last. There are definitely some sexy moments, too, but I really enjoyed how much fun this one was to read.
Maggie can't seem to catch a break. Trouble seems to follow her like a black cloud. And by trouble I mean clumsy embarrassing moments. When her business fails, she goes home to try and figure out what to do next. She has no idea that her teenage crush, aka America's favorite rock star, aka her best friend's brother is back in town.
Things go from embarrassing to more embarrassing for Maggie and she finds herself head down (literally) in cock cake. It's not all bad, though. When life gives you lemons you make lemonade, right?
This was a great read. it was loads of fun, sexy and laced with lots of sweet moments. Maggie and Drew are great together. There is a little drama but it keeps things fun and adds another element to the story.
I can't wait to see what Ms. Monroe gives us next. She is quickly becoming one of my go to rom com authors.
