Merger
Chelle Bliss

Merger by Chelle Bliss is about two rivals who find a connection they never expected. What happens next is unexpected and full of twists and turns. We pick up right where Acquisition left off with Lauren Bradley missing. Can Antonio Forte find her in time or is it too late already?

For me, the tone in Merger was completely different than what we saw in Acquisition. In Acquisition we had the intense rivalry going on between Laruen and Antonio with a bit of suspense. They were constantly at odds. It seemed they could never find a middle ground, as Lauren felt threatened by what Antonio wanted. But in Merger, Lauren and Antonio realize what they have is not a short fling, or something so easily ignored.

Lauren has worked in a world dominated by men for a very long time. Trusting Antonio does not come easy. What are his true intentions? His offer seems too good to be true. Can they find a middle ground? I loved that Merger was more about Lauren and Antonio coming together and finding their way. Both were strong individuals determined to succeed, but could they be so much more together?

Merger was the perfect ending for this duet. We have a bit is suspense in not only will Lauren survive, but who is with them and who is against them? We also see more of them as a couple and how they interact with each other. I loved the characters and the story!
