Title: Free Fall

Author: Emily Goodwin

Genre: Contemporary Romance

About Free Fall:

I’ll never forget the first time I saw Nora Fisher. The way my heart sped up in my chest and blood rushed through every part of me. I was drawn to her the moment our eyes met.

She was beautiful.

Just like me.

I never meant to hurt the only woman I’ve ever loved. She was light, and I was dark, casting shadows on everything around me. Letting her go meant spiraling back into the darkness only Nora could pull me from. But I’d sacrifice myself a thousand times for her.

Four years later, she’s back, and the passion she ignites makes the fight for her stronger. But the more I try to make things right, the more I realize how complicated things have become.

And now I’m starting to see that maybe her light was never meant to be mine.

Free Fall is a standalone, contemporary romance.

There are some books that you read and you get emotional, then there are the few that you can actually feel the heart stopping pain, the pure joy and everything between deep down. I felt every emotion in this book. iived the heartbreak while reading, I lived the pieces of what was broken being put back together. Goodwin makes you live through the book because her characters are so real and you feel so connected to them that it is impossible not to truly feel the story.

First off, I was a little worried as I started the book because it does start out a bit YA. Not that there is anything wrong with Tha, it just wasn't what I was looking for. So with that being said, hang in there if you aren't a YA reader because this story quickly moves past that. Second, I normally have a hard time with books that bounce from past to present, I will often skip the past, Goodwin made the transition seamless. Half the time I didn't even realize I was reading about the past because I was so engrossed in the story. Third, this was probably one of the best second chance romances I've read in a while. I highly recommend Free Fall, this is one of those books I will be pushing on everyone I know.
