Tia Louise

Hit Girl by Tia Louise is standalone spin off from her Bright Lights duet. Though you do not need to read the duet to read Hit Girl, it does provide some additional background. In this we see Molly and Joshua in a world full of revenge, secrets, lies and redemption, as well as seeing some old friends.

In Hit Girl, Molly Dixon is a total badass! She has a list and purpose. She needs each and every person on that list to pay for what they have done. She was lost for such a long time and has a past that haunts her. She has grown up so much between all the books. We see a woman determined to make things right with hopes to move forward.

I liked Joshua in the previous book, but in this book, we see so much more of him and how he stands by Molly. He was very protective of her, even as he wants her to be the person she needs to be. I loved how strong and patient he was for Molly. He was so perfect for her.

But Molly has secrets. Big secrets. Secrets that can destroy the life she is building. Joshua is determined to fight for her, but can he ever understand what drives her? What will happen once everything catches up to her? This story was very fast-paced and suspenseful. As I mentioned, you do not need to read the Bright Lights Duet to read Hit Girl, but it is so worth reading as well!
