Blurb
It was destiny– the
night I met Hudson Demasi.
I remember how
effortlessly he stole my heart- his dark eyes and quick smile forever etched
into my mind. We spent one incredible night together under a haze of tequila- a
perfect night. And when I woke the next day, he was gone…
I never expected to
see him again. Years passed and with it, life went on. Until one day there he
was- standing in front of me like no time had passed at all.
He’s determined to
remedy his mistakes. I’m determined to let him try. Because even though I know
I should walk away- the urge to feel the burn is just too strong.

Tequila Haze
Melissa Toppen

Tequila Haze by Melissa Toppen is the first book in the Tequila Duet and let me tell you, this is possibly Toppen's best work yet. I love Toppen's writing style as well as the characters she always brings us. Tequila Haze was no exception. From the very beginning I knew I was going to absolutely love Lennon and Hudson. The stroy is so well written easy to read that the pages just fly by, before you know it you'll be at the end of the story asking what the heck just happened. Tequila Haze ends in a cliffhanger that had me so angry with the characters involved. Normally I don't care to read cliffhangers, but this one was so perfect.

Hudson and Lennon met five years ago and spent one night together. That's all they had until now. Five years later they are brought back together, and their feelings and the chemistry is still there. Watching these two fall for each other was one of the best parts. I loved their relationship, their bantering back and forth. The story is told in dual POV, however, we don't get Hudson's right away. Overall, this was a fantastic story and I can't wait to dive into Tequila Burn.
