I am all about angst in stories and because of that, I devour love triangles. Then add in an MC and I am all over that! In Me, Please by Bella Jewel we get the story of Boston and the women in his life.
Boston stays away from women for a reason and then he suddenly finds himself in the middle of two of them. One lights up his life with her sweet nature. The other is sassy and full of life. When they are both in danger, he needs to keep them safe. But who will keep his heart safe?
Boston is drawn to both women for different reasons. We learn about Boston and the woman and how they fit into his life. I loved that we were able to get all three point-of-views to really understand all three characters. Even so, you know at the end one person may be left heartbroken.
I loved Boston. He was an overall great guy who cared about both woman. He was protective and strong. One of the hardest part is both women were actually great, if different. We could see why Boston struggled with a decision. Their journey was full of angst and danger. Though this is part of a series, I have not read them all yet, but intend too. This can definitely be read as a standalone.
