The Left Side Of Perfect – Release Day – August 30
For better or for worse,’til death do us part . . .
The better captured me; she’s who stole my heart.
And made me realize I couldn’t live without this woman.
The worse of her took my breath away–kicked me when I was down and twisted me into a million knots.
When I first met her, I thought she was someone I would never see again.
The second time I ran into her, it was a random coincidence.
I didn’t know it at the time, but she was the girl I was going to marry.
But life isn’t always perfect. You have to take the better and the worse–even if it means giving her up, having her slip between your fingers, and letting her walk away.
I’m getting married.
This is forever, ’til death do us part.
The Right Side Of Forever – Release Day August 31
In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish . . .
It sounds so simple, to love someone unconditionally.
To give them your heart.
So why is she slowly eating away at my soul with every unanswered phone call, every unread text, and every door left unopened?
She said yes, and yet, in order for her to be with me . . . I need to let her go.
Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
THE LEFT SIDE OF PERFECT
I do not even know where to start, except if you have not read the Blue Line duet yet, run now and go read those first. They are two separate duets, however, do have interconnected characters and where you first meet the wonderfully, amazing and delightfully sexy Colby Brooks. I loved him since the first book. I cannot begin to express how much I loved him, but back to the point, once you read the Blue Line duet, start reading The Left Side of Perfect by Meghan Quinn.
Where do I start? I have so much to say, but I do not want to spoil this book. First, let me tell you, Meghan Quinn is a must-read author. She writes something, you have to read it. She writes captivating and all-consuming characters and stories. From her romcoms to her angst-filled emotional reads, you cannot go wrong. It is so easy to get lost in all her books and you cannot go wrong with any of them.
Back to this story, how do I explain it. Sometimes in life you make choices that seem right, but may not be right, but how do you know? This is Colby’s story in a sense, but there is also Ryan and Sage, but this is not a love triangle, trust me on that. It is a story of friendship, love, support, honesty and realizations. It is about finding connections and following them.
Vague, right? But seriously this is a story you just need to experience. It is a love story a long time in the making, with some broken hearts and lots of feels. Colby and Ryan will own your hearts and you will root for them! And the good thing about that ending? You do not have to wait long for the next book! This is a must-read story! I absolutely loved these characters, even as they take my heart on a wildly emotional journey.
THE RIGHT SIDE OF FOREVER
If I could give The Right Side of Forever more than five stars, I would. Meghan Quinn has outdone herself with the Blue Line and The Perfect duets. Some of her best work to-date and so different then we have come to expect from her. This just shows how versatile a writer she truly is. In The Right Side of Forever we get a beautiful and angst-fill story of love, hope, friendships, second chances and so much more. This story drew me in and never let me go.
We pick up right where we left off. There is so much going on. Ryan broke my heart. She was so lost and broken and all I wanted to do was to give her a hug. We also begin to see a different side of Sage and Colby and what they truly want and need. How will it all end?
I want to say so much more, but anything I say would be a spoiler. All I can say is this story consumed me. I absolutely loved Colby from the very first book. He was my favorite and with this duet, it only solidified that fact even more. He was a bit dense at time, but he was a good man that was honest, caring and loyal. Ryan was beautiful and open on the outside, yet so vulnerable. Her backstory just about undid me. I cannot recommend reading these books any higher that saying they are must-reads!
The Perfect duet was just that, perfect. Don’t get me wrong, this was emotional and angst-filled, but so worth the ride. I should note though, The Right Side of Forever is not a standalone, The Left Side of Perfect should be read first and honestly, I would suggest reading the Blue Line duet first to get the entire overall story. Trust me, it so worth it.
