The second I heard his name, I knew I should stay away.
Our fathers were mortal enemies—Chicago crime bosses from rival families.
But that didn’t stop Leo Conti from pursuing me.

Flow
Chelle Bliss

I didn't love book one in this series. But I am a huge fan of this author and refused to let one book change that and I'm glad I did.
Flow, well, flowed better for me. I liked the characters and the story and found myself rooting for their forbidden love. Leo was such a great guy and I loved him for Daphne. Their chemistry was great and there were a lot of sweet and sexy moments that had me smiling. With just enough drama, and a few twists, I was drawn to the complications that made up Leo and Daphne. I especially enjoyed the humor in this book and the banter between the characters was fantastic.
One of the things that I didn't like about the first book in the series was the lack of Gallo's. I felt a little lost without a clear explanation of the family connection to her original Men of Inked series. The author makes up for it in this book by bringing everyone back and doing a great job of clearing up any confusion. I'm looking forward to seeing where the Southside goes.
