The beginning of any love story starts with the meet.

I’ve known Garrett Hollis since before I can remember, and I’ve loved him just as long. I loved him while he loved someone else. I loved him when he had a baby with her. I loved him when she left him.

The greatest of love stories is that between a dad and his daughter. I should know. I’ve had a front row seat. First steps, first words, all the big moments.

Garrett was just a teenager when Mia was born. I’ve watched him braid his daughter’s hair, hold her hand crossing the street, seen her asleep on his chest. I’m the best friend, the one they can count on for everything from dance lessons to motherly advice, anything they need. I’m their go-to girl.

The bestpart of any love story is the happily ever after.

But what if the happily ever after doesn’t include you?

All my life, that’s how long I’ve loved him.

Of course, he’s clueless.

A stand-alone, contemporary romance.

I've read a few books from this author and and I really enjoy here writing style. She has a nice way of drawing you in with characters that feel genuine. When I read the blurb for this one I knew it was one that I wanted to read. I am a big fan of single dad romance books so this one was right up my alley.

All My Life is a sweet small town romance about sacrifice and unrequited love. There are a lot of side characters that I enjoyed and at least one that I didn't. I wish I could say that I loved it. I didn't hate it but, I didn't love it. One big obstacle for my was the age of the child. When I read that this book was about a single dad I assumed the child would be young. Like a toddler, maybe. Nope. In this book we are dealing with a 17/18 year old teenager. Now, there shouldn't be anything wrong with that but, it caught me off guard and I had trouble with it all the way through the book. I also had trouble warming up to the heroine. She was a little too much of a pushover for me. I would have liked to see her fight a little harder for herself.

There is a little drama thrown in to keep things interesting but for the most part I just found it frustrating. A lot of the book seemed a little rushed and there were parts that felt brushed over and incomplete. All in all I finished the book feeling a little, meh. I am sure that many people will love this book and I certainly won't let it deter me from reading this author in the future. This one just didn't do it for me.
