Bestselling Author of the Walk of Shame Series.
Victoria Ashley grew up in Rockford, IL and has had a passion for reading for
as long as she can remember. After finding a reading app where it allowed
readers to upload their own stories, she gave it a shot and writing became her
passion.
She lives for a good romance book with bad boys that are just highly
misunderstood and is not afraid to be caught crying during a good read. When
she’s not reading or writing about bad boys, you can find her watching her
favorite shows.

I really wanted to like this book but it I found it just, meh. I never really felt the connection between the characters and most of the book seemed repetitive. There were a lot of chapters that felt like they were just filling space and I spent much of the book wishing they could just get to the point. It wasn't even about the back story for me, but more about the present.
It's been a hot minute since I've read a book by this author but this one just didn't do it for me.
