I have had a heck of a week and I have needed something to lighten my life, and Sara Ney just did that for me. Bastard Bachelor Society was a hilarious read, like tears streaming down my cheeks hilarious. It was so nice to read something that wasn't so serious. Bastard Bachelor Society is a book about giving no *****. It held some of the best banter that I have ever seen, dialogue that can not even be described, and quirkiness that goes unmatched. These characters are like unlike anything I have ever read before and yet, they didn't feel the need to be anything but themselves. To see them living so carefree and happily doing so because they own who they are, is something I needed a lesson on. I adored how well they mashed together, how much they were alike because it made their chemistry more exhilarating and exciting. Brooks and Abbott's story flowed at the perfect pace, throw in Desi and it was a for sure winner in my book.
Brooks has fraternity written all over him. Immature but in the best of ways. He is light and airy but personable to say the least. He likes challenges and is not afraid to do what it takes to defeat everything that interferes with that.
Abbott is a giant nerd who is obsessed with anything British and the 1800's. She is independent and full of all kinds of quirkiness, but has a kind heart.
Can Brooks put his competitive side away long enough to win the girl, or is there too much at stake within the bet?
*I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK
*REVIEWED FOR REVIEWS FROM THE HEART
