I hated to trick her…
But I knew she would never go for the real me.
She was beautiful, smart and funny—everything I
could want.
And I was… well. Me.
Tattooed, foul mouthed, bad boy.
I told one little white lie hoping to meet someone
different. And I did.
Danniella Abbot.
She wasn’t who I was expecting, and I guess she
could say the same, because Danni made it very clear she wasn’t interested in
me or my reasons for lying.
The fact that she was my best friend’s little
sister only complicated an already impossible situation.
I didn’t intend on tricking her. I just wanted her
to give me a chance, to discover who I am underneath the ink.
She can fight me all she likes because we both know
that I’m exactly her type. She just doesn’t know it yet.
What happens when you wake up married to the woman
you tricked into a date?
You kiss the bride and prove her wrong.

I was a very huge fan of the first book in this series, so I couldn't wait for the second one. With that said, I did like the story, I just didn't love it, but we will get into that later. So for the goods; I really do enjoy this authors writing, and the writing in Trick You was no different than that. I am a HUGE fan of the trope, because I live it daily. Besides that, there was a nice pace set, that allowed the story to flow really well. It was also nice to see characters from past books woven into the story line. The dialogue and witty banter not only from the main characters but the previous as well, was on point. I love a book that can make me laugh and this book did that, ten fold. I loved the chemistry between Danni and Trick, they were explosive in more ways than one. Okay, now onto the part that everyone hates.... My issue with this story was the sexy times. Don't get me wrong, as I stated above, they were explosive together, so that is obviously not the issue. My issue is the amount of sexy times there was. It seemed like it was never ending. It felt like every chapter I got to, they were going at it. I would have preferred to have more story versus sexy times, but hey everyone is different. Other than that one thing, I really did enjoy the story.

Now onto the main characters. Trick and Danni. They were freaking awesome. Sorta like fire and ice, but they mashed so well together. Trick is so bubbly. He considers himself a comedian, and enjoys making other people laugh. He is a total alpha that goes after what he wants with no qualms. He is kind and considerate. Danni kinda comes off as snobby, but she has a backbone made of steel. She is a business girl that loves wine and a good time. She doesn't forget when you do her wrong, and she makes people work for it.

Overall this was a good story, and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
