Follow Me Down by Melissa Toppen

the rearview mirror like I had always envisioned I would.
take me.
at nothing to bring me home.
Romance.
Adult and Contemporary Romance. She is a lover of books and enjoys nothing more
than losing herself in a good novel. She has a soft spot for Romance and
focuses her writing in that direction; writing what she loves to read.
where she writes full time.

4.5 Stars
I’m officially obsessed with author Melissa Toppen. Every single book that I pick up of hers instantly becomes a favorite. Her writing is absolutely beautiful and the story’s she tells are captivating. Not to mention, that Cover!! Did you see it?!? It’s breathtaking and oh yes, it gets better. There is actually a scene in the book right from this cover and the author nails it all the way down to the way they are dressed. Talk about swoon!!!
You need to read it. You’ll get swept away!!
Fallon’s entire life has been ruled under her father’s thumb. Every movement she makes, step she takes, and words that she speaks have been orchestrated for her to uphold her father’s reputation. She has no idea who she really is without the constant grip her father has on her. Finding herself in an unfortunate situation, Fallon does the only thing she can think of and that is to run. In the middle of nowhere and more than just her past chasing her, she finds herself face-to-face with a gorgeous bad boy on a motorcycle who offers her the one thing she truly needs - an escape.
Titus has grown up in one of wealthiest families in the country. Having a billionaire for a father never made things come easy. He was determined to be different and lead a slow life that he could call his own and that’s just what he found in his cabin in the woods. Living with his best friend Link and running his own motorcycle shop is all he needs to be happy. But when a beautiful girl looking lost in the middle of the road captures his attention, he didn’t expect that she would be the one thing in his life he didn’t even know he was missing.
Running from their families to escape the lives they’ve been forced to live, Fallon and Titus find they have more in common then they ever could’ve imagined. As the two get to know each other they find they bring something out in each other that can only be described as beautiful.
“I love you in a way I never thought I’d love another person. You once said I saved you, but in truth, Fallon, it’s you who saved me.”
This is an absolutely fantastic story that shows you what it’s like to fall in love for the first time. Fallon and Titus were a magical couple that gave me butterflies and goosebumps. I loved the easy connection between the two and the comfort that had in letting their feelings evolve versus fighting them. These two knew how they felt about each other and they weren’t scared to pursue it.
An amazing story that shows no matter how hard outside forces try to keep you apart, true love will prevail.
Also, I just have to add, I LOVED Link!!! For a secondary character, he truly brought so much to the story and he deserves all the praise!
I honestly loved this man! He was hilarious and sweet but had something brewing under the surface, a pain aching deep in his soul that needed to be set free. There is a story to tell there and I definitely need more of Link and Ellen. Their journey is NOT finished and I need to know what happened and where they go from here. I so hope they will have a book! WINK! WINK!
