GRAVE by Shantel Tessier

Release Date: August 31

My life went to hell years ago, and I’ve had a death wish since then with fast cars, women, and drugs. They don’t call me Grave for nothing!
But I do it because I need to feel something… anything.
What’s life worth living for without the high?
And then I saw her!
She’s too good for me, and I should stay away. But like any addict, I switch one drug for another, and I’ll be taking her to hell with me.
I’m anything but sweet, despite what people think, so when he tells me I’m too good for him and I’m better off without him, I don’t listen.
My life was simple before Grave stepped through that door, but who wants simple?
He makes me feel alive. It only took one touch, and I became addicted!
But therein lies the problem.
Addiction is Grave’s middle name, and when he tells me he’s taking me to hell with him, I don’t know whether to take that as a threat or a promise!

Shantel Tessier is killing it with this series!!! First Luca and now Titan, Cross, Grave, Bones - The men of Kingdom are utterly addicting!!!

This story starts off with a bang and just keeps climbing from there. Grave is the bad boy you love to hate and hate to love. He is literally addicted to everything. The drugs, money, racing, gambling, fighting, women, all of it - which made this one exciting journey getting to know the man behind the vices.

Kyle aka Grave has been through so much as a boy. After losing his mother and always feeling like the shadow in his brother Dillan’s (Bones) footsteps, he has learned to bottle up his emotions and allow them to fester. With a father who made him feel weak and inferior, it’s no wonder he turned to the things he did to find his escape. But under the surface Grave only wants to feel. He wants to be vulnerable and embrace the beauty in life like his mother did. But his father has been there every step of the way pressing on him to act like a man.

April is doing everything she can to take care of her brother Ethan and keep the flower shop open. Running the shop has been the only way April is able to keep a piece of her mother alive and she’s determined to do whatever it takes. But when she finds out her brother is in trouble and it has something to do with Kingdom, she knows he’s all she has left and she will do whatever it takes to help him.

April and Grave are the perfect pair. They say opposites attract but these two find they have more in common then they originally thought. Not to mention their chemistry is explosive!!

Shantel Tessier brings all the feels is this fast-paced, edge of your seat ride. She touches on so many different subject matters that most authors shy away from but she completely does it with perfection and ease. The way she delivers the message while making it seem relatable and authentic is something you don’t see pulled off too often. I applaud her on her impressive writing skills. This story had everything I look for in romance reads. It’s gritty, ruthless, adrenaline-rushing fulfilling and I ate it up like I couldn’t get enough!

Definitely recommend this series for my dark romance readers who are looking for a plot and characters that push boundaries while still giving you the emotional investment that keeps you glued to the pages!
