Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive…
Pretty, pretentious little liars.
I’m surrounded by them everywhere I turn.
But I’m learning not everything is as it seems.
The ones who I thought were my enemies have become my greatest allies. And the ones who I severely underestimated turned out to be much eviler than I could’ve ever imagined.
They say money can’t buy happiness. Well…I’m here to tell you, it can certainly broker a deal with a devil.
And the funny thing about dealing with devils? They always come to collect. Too bad for them, I’m going to put up one helluva fight.
And I’m going to love watching them fall.

Laura Lee is the USA Today bestselling author of steamy and sometimes ridiculously funny romance. Laura won her first writing contest at the ripe old age of nine, earning a trip to the state capital to showcase her manuscript. Thankfully for her, those early works will never see the light of day again!
Laura lives in the Pacific Northwest with her wonderful husband, two beautiful children, and three of the most poorly behaved cats in existence. She likes her fruit smoothies filled with rum, her cupboards stocked with Cadbury’s chocolate, and her music turned up loud. When she’s not writing or watching HGTV, she’s reading anything she can get her hands on. She’s a sucker for spicy romances, especially those that make her laugh.
I have been waiting and waiting to get the conclusion to Jazz and Kingston's one of a kind story, and Lee made sure they went out with a bang. I can now say, What a flipping tremulous ride that the Windsor Academy Trilogy took me on. Goodness gracious, I am just in aw of how Laura Lee fabricated Jazz and Kingston's overall story. From start to finish, from cliff hanger to cliff hanger, to the nail biting fantastic finale.
This author wrapped up this trilogy in the most perfect way, but before I get into that, there is some things I want to say. Fallen Heir is a story all in it's own. I for one can definitely say, there was never a dull moment. The development was consistent, and in a good way. There was not so much happening that I couldn't keep up, but enough to keep the pace and flow going. The depth is where Kingston and Jazz's story really comes into play, and it carved into my soul even though I finally found all of the answers to the why's that I had. Yes, some of the things were disturbing, actually really disturbing. but it all sticks with the plotline that was set into place. The dialogue was set with the harsh reality the Jazz and Kingston live with daily. It fit each character and what they stand for. I have to mention how much I felt Kingston and Jazz and their connection. (Which I know was done with intention.) They felt wholesome not only as individuals, but as a couple who finally have their feet planted on the ground. I have felt their growth throughout the entirety of this trilogy, but when it comes to their growth and connection in Fallen Heir, it's some next level type of stuff.
I have never been one for trilogies, because I am not a fan on cliff hangers and waiting for the answers that I need. But I will now say, I will be a slave to Laura Lee's trilogies any time, day or night. Now, I am left waiting for Bentley's story. Which I have needed since the very first book in this trilogy. I definitely recommend not only this book but this whole entire Trilogy!
