Eyes Open by Rachel Caid

Block out the pain.
No one sees the truth.
Until him.
He wants too much.
He wants it all.
He wants me to live with my
Eyes Open.
Noah Evans just got out of a relationship based on lies and isn’t looking for anything permanent. New to town, he and his friend and business partner are focused on finishing their new remodel and making money. One boys’ night out introduces him to Anna and all of that changes. Noah wants something real; a place to call home.
He might be pushy, but Noah is determined to get what he wants. Just as Anna and Noah start to come together, someone from the past comes back to cause trouble.
Can Noah convince Anna to take a chance on him and break free from the pain of her memories? Will Anna look past what she cannot change to see a future that includes Noah.
Due to explicit sex scene, 18+ please

For some the signs are easy to read, others need it spelled out. I think Craig suspected before Christine was willing to tell him.
Craig wants to go into this relationship with eyes open. He wants all the nitty gritty. No secrets. He was burned by manipulating conniving women and he doesn't like those kinds of surprises. When he demands a run down of Christine's past, she shuts him out and ends their relationship.
Struggling through pride and the belief that each is right, Chris and Craig still can't seem to stay away. How can you make it work, when both feel it's a breaking point? How do you get past it?
Realizing their bond is unique, they try being friends. Yeah, right!
Secrets come out, lives are changed, and choices must be made.
The subject matter in Eyes Open is a bit tougher. Some people will find it hard to read, but it actually uplifting. Besides, if you don't read it, you won't get to meet my new best friend- Ryan Hastings. I hope Ryan gets his own book with an update. (Sorry, not sorry Derek!)
I'm glad we get to share in Chris and Craig's story. I hope Emmy's princess tale is next.

Thank you!
