I’d say I’m down on my luck, but that’s an understatement. I’m flat on my ass. Homeless, hungry and in hiding with my little sister at the age of twenty-one, I’ve never been so desperate. I’ve hit rock bottom when I get an offer I can’t refuse. Sell my body to save my sister? There’s nothing I won’t do to keep her safe. I make the rules and I’m not afraid to defend myself if this rich guy crosses the line. But once I see beneath his cold, calculating façade, the lines aren’t so clear anymore.

She’s an intoxicating mix of tough and vulnerable I’ve never known before. This homeless woman who fits right into my upper-class world is running from someone powerful, and I’ll do whatever it takes to protect her. But Quinn isn’t meant to be controlled, so I’m forced to choose between owning her and loving her. I’ve finally met my match, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make her truly mine.

Thrilling,Emotional, and Very Romantic! Those are the words I would use to describe this great book! It gave me a different perspective on "Street People" Quinn and her sister,Bethy, are on the run! They went someplace where it would be hard to find them, the NYC streets and Subway Tunnels! Reading about how people would ignore them, try not to look at them on the street had me gasping! I was gasping because, sadly,I could have been one of the people passing by them! For whatever reason, living on the streets would be HARD!! Dumpster diving may be a fad for some, but for Quinn and Bethy,it's a way to survive!! Just when I thought things were getting worse for them,an offer comes along!

Andrew does not do the boyfriend/girlfriend thing. He is co-owner of a secret company, wealthy, and has his own demons to slay! He also has been effected by a great loss! A loss that was So overwhelming, and it left me angry, and sad for him! Being in the business he is in,Andrew does not want a committed relationship. So what does the man do to have companionship? He has his assistant,Dawson, proposition women!!! Catching Quinn at her lowest,Dawson gives her the details over a meal. It's her choice, let her sister go without medicine or take Dawson up on his boss's offer.

This was not an ordinary romance for me,and the author did a great job keeping the suspense and,the emotions going! She also shed a light on homelessness, and the effects 911 had on people! Especially, those that lost someone special on that horrific day.
