the dark and glamorous underbelly of the Upper East Side in the second book
in USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde’s new billionaire
romance Cruel Trilogy.I finally have everything I ever wanted–fame
and fortune and literary success.
Only one problem: I lost my muse.
He was tall, dark, and handsome. Broody,
enigmatic, alluring, and right for me in every way.
Until he wasn’t. Until I lost everything.
And I can’t lose it all again. I’ll do anything
to keep it.

Cruel Fortune was so much more than I was expecting, it was a journey I didn't want to end. This story was so we'll crafted that I felt like page after page was another turn on the road this story takes you down. You definitely don't want it to end.
I would easily say this one was better than Cruel Money. There isn't much I can say about the story because I feel like anything beyond the blurb would be a spoiler and this is one story you absolutely have to read to find out how amazing it is.
I'm anxious to read the next book, although I'm not sure how Linde is going to top this one.
